If you, like tons of others, often travel for Thanksgiving, get ready to start thinking about booking those flights up!

This week that holds the most deals on flights for Thanksgiving weekend isn't JUST yet, but you definitely want to be prepared for when the week of September 4th rolls around, according to travel search engine, SkyScanner.

The prediction is that travelers will be able to score fares saving them 4 percent, which may not sound like a lot but hey, in airline dollars it all adds up!

And, you don't want to miss out on any of your Turkey Day fun at home!

What's interesting, too, is that SkyScanner found the window for better savings is extending, this year you may be able to find similar fares to the week of September 4th as late as November 6th.

But, I also like to go on the 'better safe than sorry' side here. I'd rather be all booked up far in advance than stressing just a couple weeks before!

And when it comes to Thanksgiving, it's always best to be prepared right?
